CorNeat Vision strives to promote health and equality by promoting medical solutions, widely accessible to vast global markets, including developing and impoverished countries. We offer innovative, permanent, convenient and affordable solutions by leveraging our unique technology and R&D capabilities. We have successfully developed an artificial cornea (the CorNeat KPro) and an artificial connective tissue substitute (the CorNeat EverPatch), which will improve the quality of life for many in need. Our first two products have successfully passed all pre-clinical requirements and will enter the clinical phase in 2020.
While our first devices enter the clinical phase, R&D and financial resources are focused on new applications. Our goal at CorNeat Vision is to innovate and grow, continuously bringing state of the art solutions to medical and surgical ophthalmic challenges, and to evaluate the use of associated technology in additional fields.
Finding solutions to medical problems is extremely challenging. CorNeat Vision promotes solutions to medical problems through an active learning process putting the physician's ease of use as a top priority.
Biointegration
Our permanent ophthalmic implants utilize advanced cell technology and nanoscale chemical engineering to mimic the structure and function of cellular and subcellular structures. This approach, by stimulating cellular growth, facilitates complete integration with surrounding tissue. Combining innovative ideas with our tissue integration capability assists us in fabricating solutions that replace damaged biological organs and tissue and repair their function.
