Dr. Chan is a specialist in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. She has published more than 110 peer-reviewed papers on the advances in cornea transplants and ocular surface disease. Most recently, Dr. Chan was included in the 2021 Ophthalmologist Power List, which recognizes the top 100 most influential global female figures in ophthalmology.
Dr. Chan is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, Medical Director at the Eye Bank of Canada (Ontario division) and President of the Canadian Cornea Society.
