Irit Bahar, MD, MHA

Prof. Irit Bahar is the chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Rabin Medical Center, Petach Tikva, Israel. She is a full clinical professor at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University with over 100 peer-reviewed publications, 20 case reports and three book chapters. Prof. Bahar is involved in many national and international studies in the field of cornea and external eye diseases.

Prof. Bahar completed her fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the Toronto Western Hospital (2006-2008) under the guidance of Prof. David Rootman and Prof. Allan Slomovic. She has an MA degree in Health Administration (MHA) from Ben Gurion University, Israel and serves as the Medical Director of Assuta Optic Laser Center in Tel Aviv.
