Eric Gabison, MD, PhD

Dr. Eric E. Gabison is the Deputy Director of the Ophthalmology Department at Rothschild Ophthalmic Foundation and Bichat Hospital in Paris, France. As a medical student and Ophthalmology resident at Paris XII University, Dr. Gabison subsequently completed a Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, USA (1999-2001) and at Rothschild Ophthalmic Foundation and Bichat Hospital in Paris, France (2003-2008). Dr. Gabison’s publications include several book chapters, and over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Gabison has practiced Ophthalmology in Paris for the past 13 years, during which he has actively trained ophthalmology residents at the Paris VII School of Medicine. Dr. Gabison’s awards include the French Residency Fellowship Award 1996; Harvard Lally Fellowship 2001; Dalloz Ophthalmology Research Award from the Institute de France 2009; and the French Society of Ophthalmology Research Award, 2007.
